Job summary

Farmer Focus in Liberty facility is seeking a Chiller Operator for the 2nd shift on-site. You will operate the chiller in the poultry processing area, monitor temperatures and equipment settings, and support safe, efficient production including live hang and evisceration areas.

The role requires adherence to PPE, safety procedures, and LOTO/Process Safety; candidates should have related production or food processing experience, ability to pass drug/alcohol screening, and legal authorization to

Qualifications

• Related production, manufacturing, food processing, or equipment operation experience preferred.
• Good mathematics, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow safety, quality, and production requirements.
• Ability to work all assigned shifts, including overtime and some weekends.
• New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol post-offer and prior to the start of their employment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.

Responsibilities

• Operate the chiller and support production needs within assigned poultry processing area.
• Monitor and control temperature, pressure, and other equipment settings on the chiller.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Prevent and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, and potential hazards.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management requirements related to the role.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Participate in Company and department safety programs.
