Job summary

Farmer Focus in Virginia's Liberty facility is seeking a Chiller Operator to ensure safe, efficient poultry processing by operating the chiller and monitoring temperature and pressure controls. You will support the production area, follow PPE rules, and report hazards to keep the line running smoothly.

The role requires physical stamina for a 2nd shift, willingness to work overtime and some weekends, and strong math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain safety and quality across

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, food processing, or equipment operation is preferred.
• Ability to perform calculations and interpret measurements accurately.
• Understanding and following safety, quality, and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate the chiller in the poultry processing area and support production needs.
• Monitor temperature and pressure, adjusting equipment settings as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and report hazards.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout and Process Safety Management procedures.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety policies.
