Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a Brooder House Worker in Strawberry Hill, Monticello, KY. The role involves caring for brooding birds, feeding, monitoring health, and maintaining facilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with holidays; benefits start on day one of full-time hire.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major gaps in the past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days; Rehire Rule: no more than 3 times at Cobb

Responsibilities

• Feeds and waters birds according to schedules (30%).
• Walks floors daily, examines birds for illness and treats as directed; handles mortality disposal (20%).
• Places pen partitions according to calculations; segregates birds by line and age (20%).
• Cleans and disinfects waterers and pens; performs routine housekeeping; repairs pens and equipment (10%).
• Tracks information such as genealogy, bird weight, medications, feed intake and mortality (10%).
