Job summary

ePac LLC is seeking a Pouch Assistant on the 2nd shift in Wisconsin to support the Pouch Operator. You will help convert high quality pouches, set up and run pouch machines, and ensure smooth production. This is a hands-on entry path into a Pouch Operator role within a growing flexible packaging operation.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be flexible with shifts. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered, including

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible in work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pouch Operator with Pouch Machine.
• Set up and run the machine to maintain quality and run speed.
• Follow all instructions on work orders and SOPs.
• Maintain quality control check sheets and production/waste reports.
• Check pouch quality continually during production.
• Inform Pouch Operator of defective material, maintenance or safety issues.
• Stage equipment and secondary packaging for production jobs.
• Clean and maintain equipment in preparation for the next run.
• Package finished product and create carton labels as required by the Work Order.
