Job summary

ePac Flexible Packaging is seeking a Pouch Assistant on 2nd shift to support the Pouch Operator in converting high-quality pouches. This hands-on role involves setting up and operating pouch machines and ensuring quality throughout production, with opportunity to progress into a Pouch Operator position.

The role requires teamwork, safety awareness and the ability to handle manual tasks, with a competitive $20-$22 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package and potential for profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be flexible in work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pouch Operator with Pouch Machine
• Set up and run machine to optimize quality and run speed
• Follow work orders and S.O.P. instructions
• Maintain quality control check sheets and production/waste reports
• Monitor pouch quality throughout production
• Report defective material, maintenance, or safety issues
• Prepare equipment and packaging for production runs
• Pack finished product at workstations and prepare cartons/labels
