Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a Nutrition Food Services employee to perform duties such as washing dishes, retrieving meal trays from patient care units, cleaning floors, and maintaining sanitary kitchens and nursing unit refrigerators.

This role requires a National Food Handler Card at hire and prefers about 6 months of related experience or training. You will work in a hospital setting that values patient-focused care, safety, and teamwork, with competitive benefits and

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment per health and sanitation procedures.
• Retrieve meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center.
• Clean floors and empty garbage; replenish floor stock.
• Take and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dish machine.
• Maintain cleanliness of nursing units' refrigerators and freezers.
