Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Nutrition Food Services employee at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Duties include washing dishes, maintaining sanitation, and following food-safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include delivering trays to patient care units, stocking floor stock, monitoring temperatures of refrigerators and dish machines, and keeping nursing unit refrigerators clean. On-site, base pay ranges from $23.00 to $32.13 per hour.

In accordance with assigned position, the Nutrition Food Services employee is responsible for such duties as: washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures; retrieving meal trays from patient care units throughout the medical center; cleaning floors and emptying garbage; replenishing floor stock; taking and recording temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dish machine; and maintaining cleanliness of the nursing units' refrigerators and/or freezers.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
