DO & CO group is seeking a dynamic Potwasher to join our New York team. This role supports high-standard hospitality operations, operating large dishwashing machines and maintaining spotless prep areas in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, is proactive and detail-oriented, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays to meet banquet and event needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a relevant industry or similar role.
• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
• Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate large electric dishwashing machines, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tables, and prep areas.
• Sort and dispose of trash, steam clean or hose garbage cans.
• Transport supplies between storage and work areas while lifting safely.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate large electric machines, including dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces as assigned.
• Sort and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers; steam clean or hose garbage cans in assigned areas.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while adhering to safe lifting standards.
• Assist with the loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Maintain compliance with all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards outlined by company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant industry or similar role.
• Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of completing tasks within tight deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations and procedures is an advantage.
