Job summary

Pineland Farms Potato Company is seeking a responsible supervisor to oversee daily farm operations, ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance. You will document safety and quality measures, train crew members to OSHA standards, and drive continuous improvement in production efficiency.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience and possibly a Chemical Handling License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associates preferred
• Must have 3–5 years related experience or training
• Current Chemical Handling License or willingness to obtain
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Knowledge of diesel mechanics and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Ability to work overtime/weekends when required

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, and clean farm equipment to ensure reliability
• Maintain safety, quality, and farm documentation
• Ensure staff trained to OSHA requirements
• Report safety issues and incident potentials to management
• Initiate incident/accident reports and corrective actions
• Handle potatoes between locations to meet production efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment to improve performance
• Adhere to GMP and sanitary policies to reduce crop losses
