Pineland Farms Potato Company is seeking a maintenance technician to support the potato production line at Mars Hill, Maine. The role emphasizes preventative and emergency repairs to ensure safe, sanitary, high-quality operations.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, perform welding, and keep detailed records of repairs. Candidates must be 18+ and ready for extended peak-season hours.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous harvest experience preferred.
• Willing to work extended and flexible hours during peak season.

Responsabilidades

• Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on trucks, tractors and other implements used in potato production.
• Fabricates and repairs equipment including welding, cutting and fabrication.
• Performs emergency repairs on farm equipment.
• Inspects farm equipment daily and performs pre-trip inspections.
• Troubleshoots repairs to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
• Follows verbal instructions to make repairs to trucks trailers tractors and any farm equipment.
• Cleans and lubricates parts and maintains inventory of parts for day-to-day operation.
• Equipment and truck operation as needed; CDL required.
• Adheres to safety policies and GMPs; maintains sanitary conditions and reports safety/quality concerns.
• Record and document all repairs done on equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.
