Top Tier Ingredients LLC in Hancock, WI is seeking a Plant Operator - Drum Operator to run a potato-dehydrating drum line on 12-hour shifts (5 am to 5 pm). The role focuses on product quality, safety, and sanitation, with a strong emphasis on preventing defects and maintaining clean, compliant processes.

You will monitor mash flow, adjust rollers, and uphold GMP standards while working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related consumer food manufacturing sanitation experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a Motor Vehicle Report check.
• Ability to understand and communicate instructions in written and verbal English.

Responsabilités

• Maintain adequate and consistent flow of mash and adjust feed auger/roller speeds.
• Keep mash on applicator rolls and minimize defects through proper handling.
• Reduce waste/defects by adjusting rolls and maintaining a thick mash sheet.
• Check product defects and notify Production Manager when out of grade.
• Keep work areas clean and prepare room for next shift.
• Complete sanitation tasks to prevent cross-contamination and ensure cleanliness.
• Follow safety regulations and Top Tier GMPs.
• Ensure proper blanching, cooling, and cooking for flakes.
