Job summary

Top Tier Ingredients, LLC, Hancock, WI, is seeking a Plant Operator - Drum Operator for day shifts (5 am–5 pm). You will run a potato-dehydrating drum line, monitor mash flow, adjust feeds, and ensure product quality and cleanliness.

The role requires safety adherence and basic English communication in a manufacturing environment. The position is full-time with a 12-hour day shift pattern and 36–48 hours weekly, including every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related consumer food manufacturing sanitation experience preferred.
• Ability to monitor and adjust mash flow and drum operation.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to understand and communicate instructions in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate and consistent flow of mash.
• Adjust feed auger speed and roller settings; shovel as needed.
• Keep drum and applicator rollers clean; ensure pure mash on rollers.
• Reduce waste/defects by adjusting rolls and maintaining mash sheet.
• Check product defects; notify supervisor if out of grade.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area and equipment.
• Complete sanitation duties and prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow safety, GMP, and plant policies.
• Ensure proper blanching, cooling, and cooking for flakes.
