TrulyHired in Florida is seeking a Postsecondary CTE Teacher attached to a department head position for the 26/27 school year, teaching Early Childhood Education. The role involves instruction of postsecondary CTE content areas and alignment to state standards and district curriculum.

The candidate will design, deliver, and assess rigorous lessons, collaborate with local businesses, and support CTSO programs while maintaining professional development and certifications as required.

Qualificações

• Language Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets all kinds of documents.
• Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
• Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

Responsabilidades

• Designs and implements instruction aligned to state standards and district curriculum.
• Creates a positive educational climate with respect and rapport.
• Delivers relevant, rigorous lessons that maximize engagement and achievement.
• Uses diverse teaching practices to meet students' varied educational and cultural needs.
• Observes and evaluates student performance; monitors assessment data, grades, and attendance.
• Manages classroom behavior with effective management strategies and disciplinary procedures.
• Communicates with parents and staff about student progress and involvement.
• Ensures health and safety of students and protects equipment and facilities.
• Maintains and secures confidential records and data.
• Maintains certifications and required professional development.
• Engages with local businesses to partner with the CTE program.
• Acts as local CTSO advisor.
• Pursues continuous improvement and relevant certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Responsibilities may change according to district needs.
