Job summary

Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Mother/Baby Unit. You will provide a full spectrum of nursing care, using clinical judgment within seven dimensions of patient care, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Emphasis on patient education and discharge planning. Must hold Michigan RN license and BLS, with graduation from an approved RN program.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Michigan is required.
• Current BLS certification is required or equivalent.
• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of delegated and independent nursing services using the nursing process.
• Develop and coordinate a multidisciplinary plan of care ensuring quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; support discharge planning and safety.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and community agencies to ensure appropriate care.

Education

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing

Graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program

BLS provider certification (AHA)
