The Postpartum Nurse educates and assists the new mother with her physical and emotional needs during the post-partum period. They also care for the newborns and educate families about newborn care.

Education: Required graduation from an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program; Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Licensure: MO RN license active; BLS within 90 days; NRP within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Missouri RN license active in the state.
