Job summary

Banner Health’s University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse with postpartum or labor and delivery experience for the Antepartum/Postpartum unit. This 24-bed unit cares for moms and babies with a focus on high-quality maternity services, teaching, and patient satisfaction.

Part-time positions available; weekends and holidays rotate; self-scheduling tool available. Night shifts have an 18% differential; weekend shifts receive a $3/hour differential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance or related requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care per policy.
• Develop discharge plan with patient/family and care team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities and team.
• Communicate patient status to other caregivers and physicians.
• Document care in patient records accurately and timely.
• Support professional development and unit leadership initiatives.
