Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
• NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
• National Certification in Specialty within two years preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and theories to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate peers, patients and families on care plans and safety
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Coordinate unit resources and equipment within budget and policy

Education

RN licensure in Florida

BLS certification (AHA)

NRP certification (AAP)

National Certification in Specialty within 2 years

BSN preferred
