Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to deliver autonomous, evidence‑based care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal perinatal outcomes.

You must hold a Florida RN license with at least two years in Labor & Delivery, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and ongoing fetal monitoring education; national certification in a specialty is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred, but not required.
• Current RN licensure in Florida; two years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications with required renewal.
• National Certification in Specialty preferred; fetal monitoring education renewed every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and theories to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate and modify patient care.
• Practice autonomously within nursing standards, ANA Code of Ethics and ANA Bill of Rights.
• Lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure care quality.
• Act as educator to peers, patients and families and support continuous improvement.
