Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Partum unit on the Night shift. The RN applies nursing process, provides autonomous care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, NRP, and specialty certification within two years. BSN preferred but not required; experience in postpartum care is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida (FL).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• National Certification in Specialty within two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing processes and theories to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate, and modify patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Practice autonomously within nursing standards and ethics.
• Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate peers, patients, and families to support care excellence.
• Identify resource needs and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
