Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license required.
• BLS certification required (Provider or Healthcare Provider).NRP certification within 1 year of hire and maintained.
• STABLE education within 1 year of hire and renewed every 2 years.
• PALS certification within 2 years of hire and maintained.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 30 months of hire and renewed every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per MN Board standards.
• Plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing personnel and patient care.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with healthcare team.
• Assess labor status, fetal condition, and maternal history; monitor fetal heart status.
• Operate equipment for maternal, pediatric, and newborn care safely.
