Job summary

Madisonhealth seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the postpartum setting and to assess and plan individualized patient care. The incumbent must communicate effectively with physicians about changes in a patient’s condition, respond quickly to changes, and participate in performance improvement activities.

The RN will perform general nursing duties, maintain excellent patient-family communication, and work in a team-driven environment with Madisonhealth.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide direct patient care in the postpartum setting
• Ability to communicate clearly with physicians about changes in patient condition
• Proficiency with MS Office tools and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the postpartum setting.
• Assess and plan individualized patient care for each patient.
• Communicate changes in patient’s clinical condition to physicians promptly.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Perform general nursing duties as required by the department.
