Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital- Madison is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN AM or PM shifts in Madison, WI. Expect entry to mid-level responsibilities including admissions, assessments, documentation, and rapid response participation.

The role offers $55 per hour plus differential for nights/weekends, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and a strong orientation plus growth opportunities within a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Details

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: PRN AM or PM shift open (7 a.m-7:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. -7:30 a.m)

Compensation: $55 per hour plus competitive shift differentials for nights/weekends

Sign-on bonus: $3,000
