Job summary

North Alabama Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for Post-Partum care on a PRN basis. Responsibilities include patient assessments, nursing interventions, and timely documentation. Candidates must have a current RN license and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution is necessary.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification must be acquired within six months of hire.
• Preferred one year of nursing experience.
• ASLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care.
• Document medical necessity in records.
• Revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans.
• Conduct Quality Improvement assessments.
