• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required before or within the new hire period.
• Nursing students must have BLS prior to hire.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Preferred: Medical Assisting Course.
• STNA Certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience in a hospital preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under the direction of an RN.
• Assist with data collection and treatments.
• Perform administrative functions for the unit.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ condition.
• Document activities in the patient care record.
• Assist with transporting and discharging patients.
• Transcribe and process all orders.
• Prepare, maintain and process all charts, files and mail.
• Maintain inventory.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nursing students: BLS prior to hire
