Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking an RN to provide direct nursing care during night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will implement and adjust patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate discharges.

Preferred candidates hold a BSN and RN licensure in Ohio, with BLS, and ACLS if in a CCU area. Relocation and tuition benefits are offered as part of our comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS certification if in Critical Care or within first year
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
