Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is hiring a Nursing Clinical Clerical teammate for the Postpartum Mother/Baby unit. This role combines administrative tasks with direct patient care under RN supervision, supporting data collection, treatments, charting, and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Nursing students must have BLS prior to hire
• Completion of Medical Assisting Course preferred
• State Tested Nurse Assistant (STNA) Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of an RN.
• Assist with data collection and treatments.
• Perform administrative functions for the unit.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ condition.
• Document activities in the patient care record.
• Assist with transporting and discharging patients.
• Transcribe and process all orders.
• Prepare, maintain and process all charts, filed, records and mail.
• Maintain inventory.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nursing students: BLS prior to hire

Completion of Medical Assisting Course

State Tested Nurse Assistant (STNA) Certification
