Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital seeks an experienced Postpartum/GYN registered nurse to join our care team on a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule, including every 3rd weekend and holidays. Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of $6,000 or $15,000.

The role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care, developing care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to move health forward for our patients.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1-3 years experience in a clinical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by collaborating with the health care team and documenting care.
• Develops nursing care plans based on patient history and physician prescriptions.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Maintains infection control and safe medication handling.
