Job summary

Susquehanna International Group is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team in a high transaction financial trading environment. You will install, configure, and optimize our enterprise database platform, collaborating with development and engineering teams to ensure stability and scalability across multiple instances.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5 years of PostgreSQL experience, 2 years of MariaDB experience, and strong Linux scripting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
5 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
2 years of experience with MariaDB.
Strong relational database knowledge, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and Linux shell scripting.
Thorough understanding of database backup and recovery concepts.
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Percona.
Knowledge of high availability architectures.
Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline daily tasks and workflows.
