Job summary

CU Boulder’s Walczak Lab is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Associate to advance stem cell biology and neurodegenerative disease modeling. You will maintain and differentiate human iPSCs, perform molecular biology assays, and support lab operations in a collaborative setting.

The role offers hands-on experience in stem cell biology and neuroscience within a fast-paced research environment and is based in Boulder, CO.

Qualifications

  • PhD in biology, neuroscience, molecular biology, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of laboratory experience.
  • Familiarity with sterile technique and cell culture practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Culture and maintenance of human iPSCs under sterile conditions.
  • Directed differentiation into neurons and/or glia.
  • Basic molecular biology techniques (PCR, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry).
  • Assisting with imaging, sample preparation, and data organization.
  • Routine lab maintenance, inventory, and ordering supplies.
