Job summary

The University of Minnesota is seeking a Researcher to advance neuroscience and stem cell studies using iPSC models, CRISPR editing, and imaging, with collaboration across graduate students and post-docs. The role is in-person, 40 hours per week, with responsibilities spanning planning experiments, data analysis, and lab operations, including tissue culture and rodent work.

Biochemistry and proteomics experience are valued as you contribute to day-to-day research and ensure compliant, safe lab

Qualifications

  • Holds a BS or BA degree plus two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education relevant experience to equal at least 6 years.
  • Experience with cell culture.
  • Experience working with rodent models.

Responsibilities

  • Research (80%): conduct experiments in molecular neuroscience/stem cell models using iPSC and mouse models.
  • Plan and conduct experiments and perform data analysis.
  • Work with rodents and tissue culture.
  • Lab management (20%): order supplies, write and maintain biosafety and animal/human subject protocols, assist in overseeing lab operations.
