Job summary

Boston University Medical Campus is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in the Arthritis and Autoimmune Diseases Center to investigate basic and translational aspects of lung fibrosis, focusing on endothelial and fibroblast responses to injury in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology techniques.
• Ability to work with experimental fibrosis models in mice.
• Experience with primary cell culture and analysis of lung cell populations.
• Experience with cell/tissue imaging (fluorescence, confocal, multiphoton).
• Experience with FACS sorting/analysis and bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

• Study basic and translational aspects of lung fibrosis in endothelial and fibroblast responses to injury.
• Develop and execute independent research plans leading to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and communicate findings effectively.
