Qualifications

• PhD or MD with recent award and required advanced training in assignment field.
• Experience: with PhD – no postdoc experience required; with foreign MD – 2 years postgraduate research experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and participates in scientific research projects; guides subordinates; designs experiments.
• Compiles and evaluates data; develops new techniques based on data.
• Supervises equipment design/development for experiments; ensures proper lab procedures.
• Prepares research results for publications, papers, and abstracts; co-authors where applicable.
• Instructs technicians and students in lab techniques, safety, and equipment use.
