Job summary

UTMB Health is seeking a researcher to train in clinical and translational dermatology research. You will work with the Principal Investigator to plan and coordinate projects, participate in conferences, and help prepare abstracts and manuscripts for potential presentation or publication.

Qualifications include medical school graduation, one year of residency, and a permanent Texas Medical License. This is a temporary, on-site position in Galveston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved medical school and completion of one year of residency.
• Must hold a permanent Texas Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and translational research training in dermatology.
• Participate in intra- and interdepartmental conferences.
• Interact with attendings, aid in abstracts and manuscripts for presentation or publication.
• Work with Principal Investigator to formulate research plans and coordinate activities.
• Modify research procedures in collaboration with the PI.
• Discuss results with the PI and incorporate suggestions for changes.
