Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Sensory Neuroscience and Pain in the Villalón Landeros Laboratory. The fellow will study the role of the neuronal membrane proteasome in sensory neuron signaling and pain, combining rodent somatosensory behavior with biochemical and microscopy methods.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience or a related field; strong experience in rodent behavior, biochemistry, and microscopy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in neuroscience or a related discipline.
• Background in rodent somatosensory behavior, biochemical methods, and microscopy desired.
