The successful candidate will design and perform experiments using confocal microscopy, whole-cell electrophysiology in mouse brain slices, viral-vector circuit manipulation, and in vivo electrophysiology.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Neuroscience or closely related field required.
• At least five years of research experience involving confocal microscopy and whole-cell electrophysiology.
• Strong experimental, quantitative and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary lab.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments on corticostriatal development using advanced imaging and electrophysiology.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets; prepare manuscripts and presentations.
• Train and supervise junior lab members; develop new research directions with the PI.
