Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to study how environmental signals and epigenetic programs shape pathogenic T-cell responses in autoimmune disease.

Work with collaborators across experimental, computational, and clinical teams to identify disease-driving pathways and translate discoveries into immune-modulating therapies, with a long-term goal toward first-in-human studies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recent PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Experience with epigenetic techniques such as ChIP-seq and ATAC-seq is required or strongly preferred.
• Strong background in molecular biology and proficiency in flow cytometry with publications in peer-reviewed journals recommended.
• Preferred: experience with mouse models and bioinformatics (R, Python) and a background in T cell immunology.

Responsibilities

• Investigate molecular and epigenetic mechanisms regulating immune-cell behavior.
• Identify disease-driving pathways in autoimmune conditions such as lupus and related diseases.
• Translate mechanistic discoveries into potential immune-modulating therapies.
• Collaborate with experimental, computational, and clinical teams to advance translational goals.
