We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join acollaborative program focused on high-fidelity simulation and analysis ofcomplex turbulent flows in engineering systems. Responsibilities
Conduct large-scale simulations of turbulent flows using state-of-the-art CFDmethods.
Perform advanced data analysis and develop physics-based models.

Qualifications
Required Qualificatons
PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Strong expertise in computatuional fluid dynamics and turbulent flows.
Experience with scientific computing and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-performance computing and GPU acceleration.
The referenced salary range is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faithbelief at the time of posting. Salary Range
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries forthis position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief atthe time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end ofthe salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate mayvary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include thesuccessful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internalequity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonablydetermined by the University.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories,working with research subjects, or involving community contact requiresdocumentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola(Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation ofhaving received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This mayinclude documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicellavaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing. Bloodtests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in thepre-employment physical exam except for those candidates who provide results ofblood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers.Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in ourOccupational Health office.
