# **Position Summary**The Cooper lab at WashU is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with a strong background in immunology and bioinformatics to work on projects related to understanding somatic variants in inborn errors of immunity.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**Information on being a postdoc at WashU in St. Louis can be found at .For more information on the lab please visit .Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):* Independently design and perform experiments related to identification of somatic variants leading to inborn errors of immunity, with oversight from PI.* Write manuscripts describing the findings of your scientific research.* Accurate documentation and record-keeping.* Assist with writing grant applications for the laboratory, and submit training grant applications to support your work.* Work collaboratively with all members of the laboratory.* Meet with Dr. Cooper regularly to review progress and for career development.**Working Conditions:**This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards.
