LMU's Student Psychological Services offers a 10-month Post-Doctoral Residency designed to meet licensure requirements for supervised post-doctoral experience, including 1500 hours, within a collegial, team-oriented setting.

Residents refine clinical, administrative, and consultative skills, working with a diverse student body, under supervision, with opportunities to supervise master’s level trainees and engage in psychodiagnostic assessments.

Qualifications

• PhD/Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, APA-accredited, by hire date.
• Completion of a pre-doctoral internship meeting APPIC standards.
• Counseling experience in a university setting preferred.
• Knowledge of college-age developmental issues and mental health concerns.
• Demonstrated outreach and consultation experience.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, treat, and refer undergraduate and graduate students.
• Supervise master's level trainees and supervise learning disability/psychodiagnostic assessments.
• Participate in supervision, outreach, case consultations, seminars, and chart documentation.
