Loyola Marymount University’s Student Psychological Services offers a 10-month Post-Doctoral Residency designed to meet licensure requirements for supervised experience, including at least 1500 hours. Residents join a collegial team and refine clinical, administrative, and consultative skills within LMU’s supportive SPS environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program by the time of hire.
• Completion of a pre-doctoral internship that meets APPIC standards.
• Counseling experience in a university setting preferred.
• Knowledge of college-age developmental issues and diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Manage intake/assessment, crisis management, and individual and group psychotherapy.
• Supervise master’s level trainees and contribute to learning disability and psychodiagnostic assessments.
• Engage in outreach, case consultation, seminars, Wellness Educator activities, and chart documentation.
