The University of Maryland Baltimore seeks a postdoctoral fellow to work on translational pulmonary fibrosis projects using animal and primary cell culture models, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics. You will build a publication record and pursue internal and extramural funding to advance your academic career.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, with strong data analysis, communication, and manuscript writing skills.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or relevant advanced degree.
• Experience: None required.

Responsabilités

• Work with primary cell culture systems, 3D culture systems, and small animal models of organ fibrosis.
• Perform flow cytometry, immunofluorescent imaging, RT-qPCR, and western blotting; apply gene silencing and overexpression strategies.
• Analyze data and interpret results; troubleshoot experiments as needed.
