The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The appointee will join clinically related projects in sports medicine and osteoarthritis under Dr.
Michael Ong, working at Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin. Responsibilities include trial research, data analysis, and coordination, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and publications.
Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Sport Sciences, Sport biomechanics, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Science or related fields in a well-recognised university (for Postdoctoral Fellow); OR a Master’s or a Bachelor’s degree from local universities in Biomedical Sciences, Biology or related disciplines with relevant experience (for Research Assistant); (ii) a good track record of research experience; (iii) good communication skills in English and Cantonese; (iv) the ability to work independently and the willingness to participate in team-based research. Experience in blood-taking, coordinating and drafting documents for clinical trials, and analysing clinical data would be advantageous.
The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin and will be involved in clinically related projects including the areas of sports medicine and osteoarthritis under the supervision of Dr. Michael Ong. Duties include:
