Job summary

The Chinese University of Hong Kong invites applications for Research Assistant(s) / Junior Research Assistant(s) to support clinical research across hospital settings. The appointees will participate in patient assessments, blood draws, and data management under supervision.

Initial appointments are on a one-year contract basis with renewal subject to mutual agreement. A Diploma or higher may qualify for junior roles; a Bachelor's in health-related science is preferred for senior positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related science or related discipline.
• Reliable and able to work independently with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in research-related activities and blood-taking preferred.
• Experience in computer database management an added advantage.
• Diploma/Higher Diploma may be considered for Junior appointment.

Description

Applicants should be/have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in health-related science or a related discipline; and (ii) reliable and able to work independently with good interpersonal communication skills. Experience in research-related activities and blood-taking are preferred. Experience in computer database management is an added advantage. Applicants who do not meet the above requirements but have a Diploma/Higher Diploma or above may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) assisting in clinical research projects carried out at various hospitals; and (b) assisting in conducting clinical trials, patient assessment, blood-taking and project/data management.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
