Job summary

CUHK invites applications for a Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant (260001FQ). The appointee will conduct research under supervision at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and join the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology on a one-year contract.

Applicants should have degrees in Biomedical Sciences, experience in tissue culture and molecular biology, and the ability to work independently; those without relevant experience may be considered for the Junior position.

Description

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or related disciplines; (ii) experience in tissue culture and molecular biology techniques; and (iii) the ability to work independently. Those without relevant work experience are welcome to apply and may be considered for appointment as Junior Research Assistant.

The appointee will be expected to conduct research under supervision at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
