Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study brain and peripheral nerve sheath tumors. You will perform experiments on mouse models to test drug interventions, breed and genotype mice, and collect data while assisting in grant and manuscript writing.

Qualifications

• Ph. D. or MD in Medical or Biological Science.
• Knowledge in computer programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide researchers with technical assistance as requested.
• Perform experiments studying drug interventions on tumor growth in mouse models.
• Participate in lab management, manuscript and grant writing, and training of staff.
• Analyze data and prepare results for presentations and publications.
• Support regular lab meetings and journal clubs.
