Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
  • Experience in mouse genetics essential, preferably in liver development and disease.
  • Expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or bioinformatic analysis is desired.
  • Has strong publication record and available to begin promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and conducts experiments related to Alagille syndrome and will assist the PI in reporting the results.
  • Summarizes the research findings.
  • Performs statistical analyses to determine the significance of the observations.
  • Communicates the results with collaborators via email exchange and virtual presentations.
  • Participates in preparing grant applications.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
