University of Cincinnati invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow in the Immunotoxicology laboratory of Jagjit Yadav, PhD, within the College of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio. The role advances immunology research into inflammation and hepatotoxicity using cell cultures, organoids, and ex-vivo systems.

Responsibilities include conducting experiments, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and contributing to grant writing while staying current with mitochondria-toxicant interactions

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology or related life sciences.
• Experience with immunological and molecular techniques especially signaling methods.
• Strong data analysis and manuscript writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on inflammatory and fibrogenic mechanisms between immune and hepatic cells.
• Analyze data using gene expression, Western blot, flow cytometry, and other techniques.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and manuscripts; assist in grant writing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mitochondria-toxicant interactions and emerging methods.
• Participate in training and career development; assist supervisor as needed.
• Manage lab equipment and ordering of supplies.
