Job summary

A full-time Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, in the collaborative laboratories of David Newburg and Ardythe Morrow.

The role involves conducting mucosal immunology and pro-inflammatory signaling studies, performing LC-MS analyses, training junior staff, preparing reports and manuscripts, and assisting in grant writing to advance published work.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or related field.
• Experience in mucosal immunology and inflammatory signaling is preferred.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and report results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research experiments in mucosal immunology and related areas.
• Gather and analyze data using LC-MS and cell culture techniques.
• Prepare data summaries, reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Contribute to manuscript writing and assist in grant writing.
• Mentor and train junior research staff and maintain lab equipment.
