Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a motivated Post‑Doc Research Associate to join the Wolberg Lab in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to NIH‑funded studies on hemostasis and thrombosis, with emphasis on FXIII biology, fibrin dynamics, and related bleeding risk mechanisms.

• PhD or MD in a biological science or related field.
• Evidence of peer‑reviewed publications and research leadership.
• Experience with experimental design, data analysis, data presentation and scientific writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead NIH‑funded postdoctoral research on hemostasis and thrombosis in the Wolberg Lab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance established and new research aims.
• Contribute to grant writing, mentorship of trainees, and dissemination of findings.
