Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics, in collaboration with the PDMB organization, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to lead an innovative project in viral neutralization assay development, focusing on dengue virus and factors driving assay variability across platforms.

You will establish and compare live, reporter, and pseudovirus assays; apply experimental design and advanced data analysis; and contribute to cross-platform datasets, publications, and presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Virology, Immunology, Microbiology, or related field.
• Ability to independently design and troubleshoot experiments.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, viral assays, and statistical analysis.
• Strong scientific documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and characterize matched live virus, reporter virus, and pseudovirus neutralization assays.
• Apply Design of Experiments and advanced data analysis.
• Investigate biological and analytical drivers of platform differences.
• Generate and interpret cross-platform datasets.
• Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
